How it works

Step one:

Putting your order in

After you've had time to browse through or have received a sample and you know which collection you like, it's time to get them ordered! Allow as much time as possible as orders can take up to 6 weeks in busy periods, if you are on a tight schedule get in touch and we will see what we can do!

 

On average pre-designed collection orders take 4 weeks from order to dispatch, plus a few days for delivery.

You can either put your order through via the product page (sold in quantities of 10, 25 ,75 & 125) or if you need a specific amount drop us an email and we will send you an invoice.

Our minimum order quantity is 10

Small amendments  are free of charge, these include; font, colour and quote changes. Just pop this in your order notes or send us a follow up email.

Step two:

Wedding Details

Once we have your order through or your invoice is paid, we will get to work with your invitations!

Within 2 working days you will receive an email requesting all of the details we need to design your invitations.

This will include the below:

+ Bride and/or Groom names
+ Wedding date & time
+ Ceremony & reception address & times
+ Wording amendments
+ Guest names & addresses

The sooner you return your information to us the sooner we can get your invitations to you. You'll be able to change any of these designs up until final proof, so don't worry if something changes!

We will also include your key dates, which are deadlines to follow to achieve the dispatch date stated, they will look something like the below;

Order date: 19/02/20

Info form return date: 24/02/20
Design amendment stage: 26/02/20 – 04/02/20

Final proof approval: 04/03/20
Dispatch by: 13/03/20

If anything is delayed or completed sooner use your key dates as a guide for timing as to how much your dispatch date will be pulled forward or pushed back. 

Step three:

Design  Proofs

After we have all the info we need we will proceed to design proof! It's here we will make further wording amendments or small design changes as detailed in Step One. There are typically 2 design proofs and 1 final before approval, but there is no limit (within reason!) 

Guest envelopes will be printed exactly you provide, we will not give proofs for these to make sure they are correct when you send them to us.

The design amendment stage usually takes up to 2 weeks of back and forth email approvals, any longer than this will effect your dispatch date. Your emails will be responded to next working day so make sure to keep an eye on your inbox so as not to waste any precious design time!

Step four:

Final Proof

This is it! The final proof, read and re-read to check every detail. This is exactly how your invitations will look, it needs to be perfect. You can’t make any changes after this point.

 

When we have your approval of the final proof we will add you to the print queue. It’s our time to shine lovingly & thoughtfully putting everything together by hand in our Nottingham studio.

Step five:

Dispatch

All done! We’ll package and dispatch to you as soon as it's ready. They will be posted to you usually via Royal Mail or DPD, tracked over £50. They will arrive soon (usually within 2 working days) and be all yours! All you need to do is add a stamp and post them to your guests.
